Bumi Advisors India Private Limited (“Bumi”) is an independent private credit and special situations platform focused on direct lending and structured finance transactions across the Asia-Pacific region. The firm’s core mission is to connect sophisticated pools of capital with high-quality borrowers through carefully engineered structures, with a particular focus on India’s inbound and outbound lending corridors.
Bumi positions itself as a trusted arranger and structurer of capital that is tailored to each borrower’s requirements while delivering an attractive, risk-adjusted return profile for investors. To reinforce our institutional partnerships, in selected transactions we intend to deploy a measured portion of our own capital alongside our clients in deals we originate and structure.
Our pipeline and arranged portfolio comprise predominantly secured loans and structured instruments across diversified sectors, frequently involving bespoke, multi-jurisdictional architectures. Facilities are typically short- to medium-tenor, with an average life of around four years, designed to address financing requirements that are too complex or time-sensitive for conventional commercial bank channels.
